The Williston State Tetons are back on the road for their last road game of the season today against United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck.

Starting the evening off will be the Women's game, which tips off at 5:30 pm CST.  The Tetons are looking make it a season sweep against UTTC and move one game away from clinching a first round bye in the Mon-Dak Conference playoffs.

In the last game these two teams faced off, Williston State was able to lock in all four quarters to cruise to a 70-45 win.

UTTC comes into the game with a three game losing streak.  The 6-17 Thunderbirds (4-14 Mon-Dak) look to upset the Tetons reeling from losing three of their last four games.

The Thunderbirds are averaging 66.9 points per game while hitting 35% of their shots from the field, and 26.5% from beyond the arc.

Myona Dauphinais leads the way in scoring, pouring in 15.1 points per game, with Tiara Flying Horse (12.4 ppg) also contributing to the Thunderbirds offensive output.

Williston State comes into the game 16-10 (12-7 Mon-Dak) overall on the season, and are looking to build some momentum in their last two games of the regular season.  The team is averaging 65.2 points per game, while shooting  42.2% overall and 28.2% from deep.

Tetons are led in scoring by Emily Kurkowsky with 14.3 points per game but is out for the game with a consussion, and Hayley Macdonald (10.3 ppg) is also scoring in double digits.

Three things to watch for:

1. Next Teton Up: With nagging injuries building up throughout the season, Williston State has had to rely on other options on the court to get the job done.  Shelby Myer and Kylee Old Elk have been shots of adrenaline off the bench with the former being a lock down defender and a sure ball handler, while the later has been a passing virtuoso as well as a sharpshooter from the perimeter.

2. Up Tempo: The Tetons will have a significant advantage in depth and will look to get out on the run in offense and also force the Thunderbirds to work hard all 94 feet up the court. Elizabeth Field and McDonald leading the charge on in transition, it may lead to the scoring column filling up for Williston state once again against tribes.

3. Line In The Sand: The Teton's need to come out strong both today and again on Sunday against Bottineau to set a tempo for themselves once the post season starts.  Williston State has their destiny in their own hands, while one loss would inject chaos in putting a first round bye in jeopardy, while two losses would put home court advantage in jeopardy.
