Williston Area Visual Artists Honors Linda Beard

The Williston Area Visual Artists (WAVA) invites you to join them for an artist's reception Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at the James Memorial Art Center. The art you will see has been done by local artists, and they are all eager to show off their talents. Looking at the club's Facebook page, the art they create is fantastic, and they cover many topics. Painting, sketching/drawing, sculpture, and photography.

Williston Area Visual Artists invite any artists (beginning to advanced), or art enthusiasts to come to check things out and see if this club is a fit for you. WAVA meets every 3rd Wednesday of the month for a business meeting and educational opportunity at 7:00 pm. Classes are offered at no charge to members every month on the 1st and 4th Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. They also offer instruction to the community given by professional artists. While glancing at the club's Facebook page, I noticed Cliff Sundt in some pictures. He is a great guy and has a fun eye for art. You can follow the club through its Facebook page here.

WAVA is dedicating its April Art Show to Linda Beard, a departed friend, and member of the club. As a club, the mission is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment by which artists will feel inspired and encouraged, thereby further enhancing the enthusiasm of the art community. Linda embraced this mission. Being the owner of Castle Framing, she had the opportunity to meet many artists and see their pieces as she matted and framed works of art, some of which were of these aspiring local artists!

Come support this great group of people, and help them celebrate and remember Linda on April 13th at the James Memorial Art Center.
