Williston Chamber Hosts Two Ribbon Cuttings
It's always nice to see local businesses coming to town or even expanding. Over the last couple of days., Williston has had two ribbon cuttings. In case you missed it, here are the newest additions to Williston.
Home Comforts has been in Williston for a few years now, but was able to move to a different location with a bigger building. After some improvements, they were finally able to have their ribbon cutting yesterday. You find them at their new location in Williston 1404 2nd St West. With a bigger building, they are now able to expand their furniture line and bring in more unique pieces for your home. Be sure to check them out soon!
Dirty Dough had their ribbon cutting earlier today, and this is just a fun addition to the business community in town. Dirty Dough is where you can get your cookie fix! These are not just a cookie either...they're stuffed. I can't wait to try them. Be sure to ask about the monster cookie or the dirty churro. When you check them out, be sure to stop at the Soda Shack for a quick pick-me-up. They are located inside Dirty Dough and had their ribbon cutting earlier today as well.
You might be wondering why it's important to support local businesses.
Boosts the Local Economy
Supporting local businesses helps to keep money circulating within the local economy. When you buy from a local business, the money you spend stays in the community, supporting other local businesses and creating a ripple effect that can help strengthen the local economy.
Local businesses are often owned and operated by members of the community, who are invested in the well-being of the area. When you support local businesses, you help to build a sense of community and connection with your neighbors. Local businesses also often support community events and initiatives, which can help to build a stronger sense of community.
Welcome to Williston, and best wishes for many great years!
