It can be hard to find things to do during the winter.  Curling is a fun option you may want to consider trying. It's a winter sport that has lot of participation in Williston.

If you've ever wanted to try your hand at curling, The Williston Basin Curling Club currently has multiple nights of league. The season runs from November to March. The curling club even has a program for kids each year in conjunction with Williston Parks and Recreation.

Williston Basin Curling Club is getting ready to host the first bonspiel event of the year. Their January Bonspiel is Friday the 5th at 7:00pm to Sunday the 7th (depending how many teams are signed up). It's an open format tournament.  Must be a 4-person team, any combination of men and women.

People from in town and out of town show up. Most people who participate have played before, but even beginners are welcome. And it's free to come and watch in person. Go to Building B at the Williston Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds.
