Bras for a cause continues to do great things in the area, and they have a big event coming up on February 25 you don't want to miss!

The 8th annual BFAC Gumbo Cook-off and Masq-R-Aid Party is set for that day. It will be at the New Armory in downtown Williston.

This is the event where teams get together with their best gumbo recipe, and let the public decide who has the best gumbo around! Chicken, sausage, shrimp, tons of seasoning, and a few secret ingredients are thrown in a pot, simmered for a few hours, and then served for one all to enjoy. Bring it on! Committee members say there is still room to enter a team. Whether you're a seasoned gumbo maker or an amateur cook that just downloaded a recipe to try it, they want you! Any and all teams are welcome.

Register your team today by calling Cheryl at 701-770-0045

Don't forget that this event is more than great food. There will be a live and silent auction and music featuring Josey & The Whalers. Doors to the new armory in Williston will open at 2:00pm. Gumbo will be served at 5:00pm. This is a masquerade-themed event, so bring the masks and beads, and get ready for some serious fun and food. This event is for those 21 and older, and tickets will be available at the door for just $15.00.

This ambitious group has already donated 1 million dollars back to the community, and they are starting the process of doing it again. They are extremely proud of that milestone and are extremely thankful for the continued support.
