Williston State College is pleased to announce its upcoming textbook takeaway, which will cover up to $500 in textbook fees for eligible students who enroll in Fall 2023 courses. The drawing to determine the winner will take place Tuesday May 9, 2023, at noon. This takeaway program is designed to assist the winning student in navigating the rising cost of higher education.

The recipient of this award can use the monies alongside any other scholarship dollars they are already receiving. All degree programs are eligible for this award. “We at WSC are excited to make this textbook takeaway program available to our students again this year. Whether you are a Nursing student, Agriculture student, Business student, Welding student, or any other type of degree-seeking student, the monies from this award will make the fall 2023 semester more affordable,” said WSC President Dr. Bernell Hirning.
