Watford City Parks and Recreation and the Rough Rider Center have many fun events planned for this weekend. Don't miss any of the action!

The 3rd Annual Doug Johnsrud Baseball Invitational Tournament is June 8-11. Teams competing this year are from Billings, MT, Froid, MT, Glasgow, MT, Glendive, MT, Williston, ND, Watford City, ND, Surrey, ND and Gillette, WY. The Food Truck Rodeo and Touch a Truck Event will be going on during the tournament this year. Plan for a fun weekend at the baseball field.

The Food Truck Rodeo is June 9-11 at the Rough Rider Center. There will be
10 mobile food vendors, non-food vendors, inflatables, cornhole, cash bar and good family fun. The Food Truck Rodeo will be from 10:00AM to 5:00 PM each day.

Does your child have a love for trucks and large vehicles? Then check out the Touch-A-Truck on Friday, June 9. Free, fun, family-friendly event where the young and young at heart will love to climb, sit in and even honk the horns of trucks and large vehicles seen throughout the county.

Touch-A-Truck- June 9 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
* A special no horns time is scheduled from 1:00-2:00pm for sensory-sensitive children.*

And don't forget that the Jr. Golf Fundraising Event is Saturday, June 17 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Rough Rider Center. Dinner and dancing to support Watford City Jr Golf. Featuring cocktails at 6:00 PM, Dinner at 7:00 PM and music by Too Old to Stand at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $120 if purchased after June 1st.
